The Agile UX designer is focused on creating the best possible experience for the user, and is capable of taking constructive criticism from end-users and colleagues.  A strong candidate is experienced in best practices in user research and user-centered design.  UX designers work side-by-side with business analysts, product managers, agile developers, UI developers, graphic designers and systems analysts in order to gather and fulfill requirements collaboratively.

Desired Abilities: 

• Interaction design background
• Strong sense of visual design concepts such as color theory, typography, white space, etc
• Ability to create persuasive designs to encourage conversion
• Ability to emulate and build the brand through design 
• Sketching and Wireframing
• Visually laying out site maps for new features/improvements
• Pen and paper wireframing - low-fidelity and high velocity iterations
• User testing and observation
• Engaging in collaborative user testing sessions
• Drawing conclusions and informing designs based on sessions
• High-fidelity design
• Adobe Creative Suite expertise
• Strong attention to detail
• UI Coding and prototyping (not  required, but a  plus)
• xHTML and CSS coding
• Javascript and jQuery experience
• Familiarity with Agile Design Processes

Desired:

• Experience in interaction design on the web and/or mobile devices
• Strong user intuition
• Experience in user testing and observation
• Strong graphic design skills and mastery of basic design tools
• A team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with the fast-paced startup environment and culture
