Senior Data Mining Scientist for Quantitative Ad Network
UxStation is hiring senior scientists who can analyze terabytes of data and billions of rows to discover correlations and patterns that become a part of our ad-server. Typical candidates for this role have not only developed data mining algorithms but also built large scale systems incorporating them.
Job Functions
Research, investigate, pick industrial data mining/ machine learning algorithms
Implement these algorithms using grid computing & affect the product direction
Educational/
Experience RequirementsMS/ Ph.D. in computer science (with emphasis in data mining/ machine learning/ artificial intelligence/ mathematics/ OR)
6+ years industry experience in data mining and machine learning on large amounts of sparse data.
Structured thinker, Effective communicator, Excellent programming skills
Good understanding of algorithms, data structures, performance optimization techniques, and object-oriented programming
Experience developing software using Java/ C/C++ on Linux
Experience with hadoop/ hive, MySQL -
