    Senior OpenGL/iPhone Engineer for profitable gaming startup in Redwood Shores

    Our client is the #1 MMO gaming company on iPhone with many hit titles enjoyed by millions of people. Each of their titles has reached the top 10 in the free category on the App Store. This stealth start-up is already profitable and currently just 10 people (including from Facebook, Google & Hi5 as well as Stanford, University of Waterloo & MIT) - we are recruiting a Senior Engineer to join the team.


    Responsibilities

    • Code in Objective-C primarily and develop features that uses the iPhone SDK, such as in-app purchase and animations
    • Design and implement scalable, reliable, and maintainable technologiesfor our gaming platform 
    • Promote code maintainability, extensibility, and reusability
    • Enforce code quality through code reviews and unit tests
    • Aggressively collect, analyze, and respond to data related to product performance 
    • Collaborate closely with engineering, product, graphics, and game design teams to define our next generation games 

    Qualifications

    • Significant expertise in Objective-C and iPhone SDK 
    • Significant expertise in creating games with OpenGL
    • Ability to solve complex problems with simple solutions
    • Strong empathy for users
    • Game development experience is a plus
    • B.S. Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred
